Guidance From a Bot

Heard it again on a coaching call this week.

“I was talking to ChatGPT about the situation and…”

Guidance from a bot. A smart bot. Still a bot.

I won’t pretend I haven’t. Business plan. Book recs. “Psychoanalyze this thing about me.” (Yes, I know you’ve done it too.)

But I continue to see a pattern of how others are using AI.

They’re not asking for ideas. They’re asking what to do next.

Not “help me think through this project.” but “Give me the exact steps.”

Not date ideas, but “How do I read her, raise her attraction, and have her wanting a ring by date 4?”

Same bot. Different question. One makes you sharper. One makes you a passenger.

That’s not research. That’s handing off the decision.

Everyone’s worried ai will take over someday. But you already gave it the one thing that was yours. The call.

You still have to live with the result. It doesn’t.

“It’s just a smarter google.”

Google doesn’t pick for you.

And if you can’t pick, she won’t want that ring by date 4.
